The Festival website
Storm premiered at the Rhode Island International Film Festival in August, 2009. RIIFF takes place in Providence, Rhode Island and is the largest public film festival in New England and an Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts and Sciences qualifying event. For more info go to: RIFF website
Writer/Director Joan Beveridge attended the festival, presenting Storm and a lively Q&A session. Providence is, she says, a beautiful city, temperatures rose during the festival from a comfortable high 70's to the low 90's - phew! Attending filmmakers came from all parts of the US, the UK, India, Australia, Canada. A great festival, with fantastic volunteers and staff.
